Murphy is a striking male with rich, intense coloring, a soft straight coat, and exceptional overall structure. He has a beautiful blocky head, balanced proportions, and an effortless gait that reflects his sound conformation.
His temperament is everything we love about the Bernese Mountain Dog—goofy, easygoing, affectionate, and eager to please. Murphy is intelligent and quick to learn, yet remains calm and steady in everyday life. He is confident without being pushy, social without being overbearing, and truly doesn’t know a stranger. He gets along well with other dogs and would much rather make friends than start trouble.
Murphy is the definition of a unicorn dog. He combines outstanding structure, health, temperament, and beauty in one package. He consistently produces puppies with exceptional temperaments and breed type. When bred to smaller females, Murphy has produced puppies in the 30–40 lb range. When paired with Bernese Mountain Dogs, his puppies have typically ranged from 40–70 lbs depending on the female.
